Ep. 3 Curriculum & the science of reading

The question on so many minds… is the Science of Reading a type of curriculum? The answer, no. It is the process or the “why” and the “how” of what proper instructional practices can support our brains with becoming proficient readers.

SoR promotes reading instruction that is systematic and explicit in nature. It is not a name of a curriculum, as often seems to be the thought.
